What is Jesus saying personally to me today – Silent and humble submission
Even though Jesus was the Chist, the embodiment of God himself, the man inside , or actually, outside of him, existed. Jesus accepted this human element silently, prayed and humbly submitted to the pain of humanness while never losing touch with God. This is the answer to what is the medicine for this life of suffering, submit it to God.
Thank you for speaking to me Jesus
How do I respond to what Jesus is saying personally to me today?
My human suffering and dying in Christ is painful and what I hear from Jesus today is that I can do this. I can do it without being resentful about how painful it is, with less reluctance and impatience. I don’t have to tell anyone how hard it is, I don’t even have to complain to God about it if I don’t want to. I can do it like Jesus in silent prayer and tears.
I submit all my dying in to you and lay it at your feet.
I ask to have a humble and receptive heart to what work you are doing within me.
I will not stop speaking to you or seeking you out
During his life on earth, Christ offered up prayer and entreaty, aloud and in silent tears, to the one who had the power to save him out of death, and he submitted so humbly that his prayer was heard. Although he was Son, he learnt to obey through suffering; but having been made perfect, he became for all who obey him the source of eternal salvation.
