A loss is a win

What is Jesus saying personally to me today – A loss is a win

Jesus talks about death a lot, in different ways with multiple stories and examples. Sometimes it is about a egoic death and others it is a physical death but the underlying truth and message that Jesus is imploring us to get is that there is more, we are more and it doesn’t end. So why hang on to somethings so desperately when in fact it losing attachment to it can lead to freedom.

Thank you for speaking to me Jesus

How do I respond to what Jesus is saying personally to me today?

I am challenging myself to let something go and my mind is putting up a big fight to sabotage this message that this loss is win for me and Jesus. It feels like death or dying and I have to have a sense of love as the decisions made were made in love but it was never going to be easy. Every time I feel a doubt, defeated or negative I will stop and use my prayer app for I need to see that any perceived loss is a win for love.

Luke 21:12-19

Jesus said to his disciples: ‘Men will seize you and persecute you; they will hand you over to the synagogues and to imprisonment, and bring you before kings and governors because of my name – and that will be your opportunity to bear witness. Keep this carefully in mind: you are not to prepare your defence, because I myself shall give you an eloquence and a wisdom that none of your opponents will be able to resist or contradict. You will be betrayed even by parents and brothers, relations and friends; and some of you will be put to death. You will be hated by all men on account of my name, but not a hair of your head will be lost. Your endurance will win you your lives.’
